Note: The Parking garage system is currently not working. No need to get a ticket, just continue down the ramp to the garage.
There is an underground parking garage that is accessible from Evans Ave through the ally behind the building. Parking is validated, please bring your ticket up with you and we will validate it at the end of your appointment.
There are stairs up to the businesses on the north west side or an elevator towards the south west end of the garage (in front of the handicap parking spaces).
Do not park in the church parking lot to the south of the building. It is rented out to DU and they will tow your car.
All street parking in the neighborhood is 1-hour parking and strictly enforced. However, there is 4 two-hour metered spaces out front of Salons by JC on University Blvd.
The front doors of the Salons by JC are unlocked Tuesday through Saturday from 10am to 5pm. If you have an appointment outside of these hours, please send me a text message and I will come to meet you.
If you are fully vaccinated (two weeks out form your last shot), You are no longer required to wear a mask into the building or for your appointment. I will continue to wear a mask for in order to protect my clients that are not vaccinated and my at risk guests. I am comfortable whether you do or do not want to wear a mask, If you prefer to wear a mask and want to keep it hair and color free, I do have disposable masks available.
Drinks and snacks are back! I will have bottled water, Selttzer, Kombucha, Hot tea and Kind bars available.
What to expect
Salon Millie is a one chair studio salon inside of Salons by JC.
Upon your arrival, I will have you fill out my loyalty and referral reward card.
Before my shears or any color touches your hair, we will have a detailed consultation. If you have not already sent me inspiration hair photos, please bring them with you or click the link below to send them.
After the consultation, you will experience a spa-like atmosphere with an amazing scalp massage while you relax with a warm, essential oil infused towel under your neck.
Please let me know if you have any allergies to these oils, are sensitive to heat on your neck, or to pressure on your scalp.
After your service is complete, you will pay me directly,as opposed to the front desk. I accept Cash, Apple pay, Venmo, and all major credit cards. I have a tap reader for touch-less payments.
If for any reason you are unhappy with your hair services, please reach out via email within 7 days of your appointment and I will happily make you an appointment to correct the issue.
I love my products and will be recommending retail products during your appointment. I am confident that you will love them too. However, I understand if they do not work out for you at home and will always accept a return or exchange within 14 days of purchase.
